Jamaica Inn

An Inn that is an attraction or an attraction that is an Inn. Either way you cannot ignore Jamaica Inn. Located in Bolventor on the A30 on the Launceston to Bodmin road. The Inn was immortalised in Daphne DuMaurier's book of the same name and reputedly it gets it's name from it's trade in smuggled Jamaican rum.

Having said that, the scenery and setting is dramatic and Jamaica Inn is worthy of a stopover without reference to the book for people wishing to experience a coaching inn built around 1750.
