Mount Edgecumbe situated at Cremyll Torpoint opposite Plymouth is a beautiful House that was sold to Cornwall County Council and Plymouth council in 1971. The house has been restored to an 18th Century glory and in addition to the formal gardens, there is large park with many other listed structures including a blockhouse built in 1545 to protect Plymouth Sound and a 1747 folly. This is a unique place and experience.
