Peace and tranquility,set within one and a half acres, we are secluded yet within walking distance of the village, and 10 minutes drive from the beaches of Gwithian and Godrevy Head to the North and Porthleven to the south. St Ives is approx. 20 mins drive away. Excellent eating places.
Marandell offers accommodation in two rooms. A standard double with its own shower/wc. TV, tea/coffee making facilities and a superior double/twin with a full en-suite bathroom, 28" colour TV/DVD, Tea/coffee making facilities and superb views of the garden. Also a self catering one bedroom studio in the garden. En-suite shower, kitchen/living area. TV/Video and washing machine. Be our guests at the Clowance Estate and Country Club (3 visits per stay) £3.00 each per visit. Swimming Pool, Sauna(£2 for up to 8 people), beauty salon, tennis, Gym. Set in 90 acres with a large stocked lake for fly fishing. 9x2 hole golf course (extra charge) www.clowance.co.uk.
Directions by Car:
From the A30 take the camborne west exit, turn L at the top of the slip road and then L @ the next roundabout, over next mini roundabout. At the next roundabout turn R up to the next roundabout and turn R again, signposted Praze an Beeble. Follow the road through the village and up Station Hill past petrol pumps on the L and through bridge with no top. Indicate L and turn immediately into what appears to be a layby. Continue through and up the private road, Marandell is approx. one third of a mile on your LEFT. Drive through large curved top wooden gates. If dogs appear toot your horn before opening the gates and we will come to your aid!
Directions by Train: Our nearest train station is Camborne (approx 3 miles).
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS
We are within easy reach of all West Cornwall Attractions. The Eden project is approx. 40 mins drive away as are the Lost Gardens of Heligan. The beautiful Trevarno Gardens are only minutes away and Trebah Gardens only a short drive. The Heliport and boat for the tropical Scilly Isles 25 minutes drive away. Cornwall has many excellent eating places with many only a short drive from us ie. in St.Ives and Penzance.
