The comfortable lounge boasts a wood-burning stove, which on a chilly night creates a cosy room in which to read, chat or play games. Maps, walking books as well as local heritage books are available together with a selection of board games.

Full English or Continental breakfast is served with a selection of cereals, toast, fruit, homemade yoghurt and jam. All our food is freshly cooked and we use locally sourced produce wherever possible and free range eggs from a local farm.

We are ideally situated for exploring West Cornwall's Gardens and beaches, villages and coastline. The South West Coastal Footpath is easily accessible and the area is popular with cyclists. Local attractions, including Trevarno Gardens, the National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek and Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station are just minutes away. Golf, fishing, boating and horse riding are all available locally. All this and beautiful unspoilt beaches!

Helston, with its cobbled streets and alleys, is known as the gateway to The Lizard peninsula, one of the last remaining unspoilt areas of the region. Small fishing villages nestle into the rugged coastline and the high moorlands are home to rare birds and plants. The coves with their sandy beaches and rock pools are perfect for summer days and winter walks.

It is only a twenty-minute drive to Marazion, Penzance and Falmouth, forty minutes to St Ives, Land's End and Truro and one hour to the Eden Project.
