  • "Would prefer to have a hairdryer in the property instead of asking reception for one."

I hadn't brought one assuming that luxury lodges would include one. I've never hired a holiday let that doesn't provide one in the property and we've hired a lot of properties over the years. On checking out I mentioned it and was told that it was in the information pack to go to reception but I hadn't seen that in the pack. It wasn't mentioned on check-in. So maybe make it a lot clearer that hairdryers, irons and ironing boards can be borrowed from reception both when checking in and at the beginning of the information pack.

  • "Great lodge in lovely surroundings."

An issue on arrival sorted very quickly and efficiently. Welcome pack very appreciated. Had thought that the fire pack would include first couple of logs - not just firelighter and kindling, but thankfully shop was still open. All staff were lovely and very friendly. Best hot tub we’ve had in a lodge!
