  • "I had a wonderful week at the cottage it was really well situated for exploring Snowdonia and all it had to offer."

The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and really comfortable and had everything I could have needed. I would definitely recommend a visit to this beautiful place

  • "Excellent holiday cottage, nice little back yard which catches any sun in the afternoon."

Some really good hill walks straight out of the house with wonderful views once you've climbed high enough - the owner has even left some bespoke walk information; both walks we tried were excellent. Parking in a big car is a trifle tricky, but we just parked on the road opposite with no problems. And, if you haven't been, go to the National Trust's Brodnant Gardens - best gardens we've ever been to!

  • "Lovely cottage with a lot of thought given to how it was set-up as a holiday home."

Great design choices, especially the choice of curtains/blinds - must be right my wife says so! Very friendly neighbourhood, lovely spot and near the pub as well!. Lovely ride over the Synchnant pass to Conwy. One tiny suggestion would be to provide simple explanations for the use of the microwave and oven. (It delayed out meal on arrival for about an hour while I worked out how to use them.) Excellent 11 out of 1O. from an ex teacher!

Very comfortable king sized bed. Lovely warm bathroom. The whole cottage was well presented and well maintained. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to explore the area. Well worth a return visit.

  • "A lovely property, maintained and presented to a very high standard."

A pleasure to return to after a day exploring. Lovely walks from the front door. The driveway was a challenge but once you got the hang of it it was not a problem. Will definitely be back next year.

  • "We stayed here in September."

A lovely, homely comfortable cottage with good facilities. We found the location perfect for accessing the main roads to explore the local area and further afield in Nth Wales. The property is dog friendly and the gardens are secure. Off road parking, but then we have a small car. There is a nice friendly pub serving meals in the village. We really enjoyed our stay here, which was our first visit to North Wales. We are already looking to return to Bronrallt for next year. Thankyou.

  • "Excellent cottage and location."

Although tricky at first the driveway was a plus with limited parking in the village. Good secure front and back gardens for the dog. Beautiful decor and furniture throughout. Cleanliness was first class. No vac so had to use dustpan and brush to sweep floor but didn’t mind. The weather was scorching so no need to use the wood burner. The FairyGlen was a great pub for a couple of evening meals and drinks. Dog friendly outside. And plenty of walks straight from the door or from the car park at the top of Synchant Pass. A fantastic week and will definitely be back again….. maybe next summer.

Very good, clean comfortable holiday cottage in a nice area, only 3 miles out of the famous Conwy, / Deganwy and Llandudno not to far away ether, the parking space was a bit of a problem bit of an effort to get in and out a step in the concrete did not help, they could have done a better job of it in my opinion, slop it off no need for the step, otherwise very good indeed and a pub just a few yards away, Happy holiday s guys,

About the location

CONWY

Llandudno 5 miles; Betws-y-Coed 16 miles.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is the perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep. Also within reach are the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which has the longest zip wire in Europe, and Surf Snowdonia is just six miles away.
