  • "Had a lovely time here."

My Mum and I enjoyed getting out and about .We loved coming back to No 4. We lit the wood burner it was so cosy. Shelley the house keeper delivered us some logs which was so kind.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are so pleased to hear that you both enjoyed your stay at the property and the use of the log burner. We look forward to hopefully welcoming you back in the future - John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner. Property Owner

  • "We was very happily surprised to find two additional sofas in the living area which are not on the property photos, this provided us all with plenty of seating for the cozy October evenings in."

We absolutely loved the property and hadn't even left when we was looking at availability for next year. Nicely situated with the pub being so close, garden was perfect for our dog, spacious dining area and nice bathrooms. Property was absolutely spotless! Would love to return in the future.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments, we very much look forward to welcoming you back in the very near future. John Bray Cornish Holidays on behalf of the owner Property Owner

  • "We felt the property was indeed of some TLC ."

The dining room chairs were unsafe all the bolts connecting the chairs were loose and two fell out completely when sat on them ,so I had to repair them myself. Numerous cobwebs around the property which I would not expect to find, the instructions left are very conflicting regarding waste management and recycling. The departure details were unclear one folder says on thing the other folder contradicts this. Overall disappointing with this property .

  • "Lovely property, a home from home."

Plenty of space for the whole family. Outside the property could do with a minor clean-up. Front garden didn't give the house kerb appeal it deserved. Back garden had several large weeds around the doorway and steps, had to remove these myself before my grandson could use the garden. Grass was cut during stay.but the weeds i lifted where left.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Greenaway. We are sorry the grass was not cut until during your stay and that you had to do the weeding yourself. We do hope that we get the opportunity to welcome you back to Cornwall in the future. • "Lovely property only 12 minutes from Wadebridge where my family are, so it was ideal."

Very well equipped. Only thing I would say is that the key safe was quite high and made it fiddly to use, but that was a minor thing.

  • "Very nice little touches since we last stayed at this lovely well equipped and comfortable property, new bedside tables were soooo good as was little carpet pieces under the sofa to stop it moving."

Kitchen window repaired which was nice so we could see the birds in the garden. Courtesy call a couple of days after our arrival was a nice touch. Only little niggle was with the main bathroom, not the en suite one. There is a little ledge going 3/4 around the bathroom what obviously had been missed in cleaning, this had little curly hairs and long hairs and dust stuck to it and the towel rail had not been dusted either, have photos if your interested. This didn’t really affect us as we used the en suite bathroom all the time, just thought you would like to know. Everything else was superb and we had an incredibly comfortable and happy stay, would thoroughly recommend this property to others

Thank you for your feedback, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Greenaway, we are very sorry about the cleanliness issue you had this will be passed onto the housekeeping team. • "Really comfortable and clean cottage."

Excellent shop/restaurant/pub across the road (Pityme Inn) and good walking (path to Polzeath). Would be useful to include details of coffee machine (Tassimo). Excellent newly fitted bathrooms. The cottage just works really well. Only bad thing - mobile reception is pretty poor in the area.

The property offers homely living just a few minutes from the delights of the Camel Estuary, and many more attractions throughout the coast of Cornwall.

This three-bedroom, detached holiday home offers an ideal base from which to explore the area whilst being tucked away in a residential area with all the convenience of being just up the road from the main village of Rock.

Through the entrance hallway, the spacious kitchen offers the opportunity to whip up a full English breakfast to energise your troops or to come back to prepare an evening family feast, and from here, discover the dining area just off the kitchen, giving a social space where you can all sit around the table, catching up after your day at the beach.

Out from the large picture window of the dining area, you have the view of your private, secluded garden at the back of the house; perfect for soaking up the last of the sun rays or enjoying breakfast outside in the fresh countryside air.

From the hallway, the contemporary sitting room at the front of the house invites you in to relax, snuggle up and spend time together, featuring a smart TV, DVD player and PS3 for your enjoyment, as well as the added ambience of a woodburning stove.

Once you have fully wound down and perhaps been tempted to a nightcap, you can retire for the night for a peaceful slumber; the master bedroom at the back of the house includes a tasteful en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower for that extra comfort and your own personal space.

The front double bedroom boasts a beautiful sleigh bed which will draw you in at the end of the day whilst the stylish bunk bedroom gives children their own retreat to relax in.

There is a separate, renovated family bathroom to allow the rest of the family to refresh in their own area, equipped with a tempting bath that is poised ready to be filled with bubbles and a practical, stand-alone shower.

If the idea of cooking whilst on holiday does not seem like a relaxing hobby, the Pityme Pub is just a short walk around the corner, and The Mariners Public House in Rock, Rock Bakery, Watts Butchers, and more restaurants are still almost on your doorstep, being just a short drive down the road for even more choice in booking to eat out or to stock up on local wares.

For your days bathed in sunshine, further up through Trebetherick the idyllic Daymer Bay offers calm shores and more gentle, lapping waves for children to paddle in, or for bare foot walks with your toes in the sand.

Don your wetsuit shoes and grasp a net to discover the marine treasures awaiting them in the rock pools of Greenaway, which lies just above Daymer Bay.

For activities on and in the water, you need not leave Rock as the Sailing School and Camel Ski School can assist with booking you in to expend your energy on the estuary instead!
