Cornwall Film Festival

Cornwall Film Festival is Cornwall's largest film event and one of the biggest and most exciting events in the South West.

The Festival opens in Redruth on 31st October with 'The Dark Side' - a Halloween night featuring mockumentary 'What We Do In The Shadows'; it then continues in Redruth on 8th & 9th November with various screenings including 'Night Moves', 'In Order of Disappearance' and Jake Gyllenhaal's 'Nightcrawler'.

From 11th-16th November, the Festival screens films concerning 'The Lives of Others' at the Phoenix cinema in Falmouth. This opens with 'Mr Turner' and includes screenings of 'Winter Sleep', 'Saint Laurent' and 'Still Life'.

On 22nd & 23rd November, the Festival visits St Ives for the theme 'Territories', including screenings of award-winning features such as 'Mystery Road', 'The Young & Prodigious T.S. Spivet', Emma Thompson's 'Effie Gray' and Brendan Gleeson's 'The Grand Seduction'.

The festival concludes on 29th & 30th November in Penzance with 'Dystopian Futures', a Sci-Fi weekend at Savoy cinema including classics such as 'Metropolis' and '2001: A Space Odyssey', as well as a lecture and bespoke workshops.
