Welcome to Down-a-Long Cottage. Our Cottage nestles in a quiet Cornish village, within the Tamar Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. We have happily been offering Bed and Breakfast to our guests for over five years and what is more, we really enjoy being your hosts. Our three double rooms are all en-suite, we add lots of little touches to make it feel like home and make you feel that you are staying with good friends. One big difference is that we are happy to do all of the work for you! If you are looking for a quiet homely Bed & Breakfast, no smoking, no children, no pets, just good, friendly service, imaginative, tasty breakfasts and welcoming hosts, then Down-a-Long Cottage is just for you. You will be very welcome.. Lots of our guests find they plan to stay just a few nights and end up staying a week. "We came for the accommodation and stayed for the breakfasts" What we can offer..........Double Bedrooms each designed with separate Cornish theme Private Bathrooms in each room Family Style Breakfast Tea, Fruit and Herbal Tea, Coffee during your stay E-Mail, and TV. Our prices include a full breakfast with fresh baked homemade bread, free range eggs and local produce whenever available. ** For our guests staying more than one night and checking in time between 4:30 and 6:00pm come and enjoy a welcoming, complimentary homemade Cornish Cream Tea. We can provide an evening meal on your first night if you do not feel like going out to eat. On the day of departure guests are requested to vacate their room by 10:00am.
Reservations require a 50% deposit. Guests are responsible for paying for all the nights reserved. Travellers and personal cheques (checks) and cash are welcome.
