Our customer satisfaction and our reputation is a prime concern and so before booking a Cottage through Cornwall.com it is important to consider the following.
The cottages are privately owned and are advertised by established Booking Agencies or the Owners directly. Any problems or complaints must be directed to the owners or Booking Agencies.
Cornwall.com acts purely in a marketing capacity. We have not personally checked any of the properties advertised and although we publish the descriptions supplied to us by the owners or booking agencies in good faith, we cannot guarantee their accuracy.
Photographs are used to advertise the cottages. They might not be the Cottage itself, but a picture of the local area. A semi detached cottages might have a picture of 2 cottages together.
It is also important to view the descriptions as they are rather than assume anything. For instance although the small villages are very picturesque, the streets can be narrow and parking can be an issue. If you choose a rural location there might not be any shops or other facilities nearby.
Also consider that a period cottage might not enjoy the same dimensions and comforts of a modern home.
Cornwall in general has above average rainfall for the UK and it is surrounded by the sea which can result in a damp atmosphere. This can result in certain properties feeling damp when they might not technically have a damp problem. Central Heating (especially Gas ) is not always available in rural locations.
Only book when you are positive you wish to do so. The owners or Booking Agencies will have certain conditions regarding cancellation and if you change your mind you might not be entitled to your money back. Please read the contract that the Booking Agencies ask you to accept before proceeding with the booking.
